Welcome to Cub Scout Pack 37 in Roseville, CA

Pack 37 is an active Pack within The Golden Empire Council. We serve the youth of West Roseville and surrounding areas; chartered by The American Legion Post 169. We have dens for both boys and girls ranging from Kindergarten to 5th grade (ages 5-11).

The Pack’s leaders have extensive training to ensure that our youth has the best experience while scouting.  Our Pack has an incredible volunteer staff dedicated to serving and preparing our youth to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Law.

There’s never been a more exciting time to be a part of our Scouting family, and we invite you to join us for fun and adventure!  The Pack meets once a month at the Veteran’s Hall at 110 Park Drive.  We hope to see you soon!

Your child will be placed in a “Den” with other Scouts their age. This “Den” is a part of a larger “Pack”.  Be proactive and contact the leaders. They are typically busy parents too and often new to the leadership role. Be patient, ask questions and offer to help. (You’ll soon learn that Scouts are “helpful” and learn to “do a good turn daily.”)

You can also fill out this “About My Pack” sheet with key contact info and details about your Scout unit.

This is required for all Scout leaders and highly recommended for all parents. It’s good to understand how everyone involved in the Boy Scouts of America works diligently to keep kids safe. Here’s how you get started:

  1. 1. Go to my.scouting.org

  2. 2. Create an account

  3. 3. Click on “Menu” and go to “My Training”

  4. 4. Go to “Youth Protection Training” (Required for all adults to attend camps. It is also Required for new leaders before volunteer service with youth begins.  Leaders will also need to be Live scanned.)

  5. 5. If you are a Leader, find the training that corresponds with your child’s age and program or your area of responsibility.

Every group of Scouts is a bit different, but all are based on the same principles and foundation. They also share the same growth opportunities (called “advancement”) on the path to help Scouts achieve our highest advancement rank of Eagle Scout.

Many Scouts get their first taste of the great outdoors at our camps whether it’s an overnight adventure or a day camp.

*All Adults must have a valid Youth Protection Certificate to attend.  A parent is required to be with their scout(s) for overnight events.

Get an overview of the program by downloading the Family Information Guide.

*Please note the pricing in this guide is old.

Download and fill out these medical forms and make appointment with your Scout’s doctor for an annual checkup. Your Scout will need these forms to attend various adventures.

While Scouting means life-long friendships, it’s always fun to start with someone you know. Ask your child who they’d want to have fun with and invite them to a meeting.
